Late one night my Touchpad (running ICS at the time) had about 25% battery left as I placed it on the Touchstone charger. The next morning it was totally dead and would not turn on. I suspect that perhaps I didn't get it placed just right on the charger and some errant process drained the battery to zero during the night.

I've ran into this issue before and it is usually resolved by plugging the Touchpad into the AC charger (not the Touchstone) for a few hours and then performing a hard boot (hold both the power and home buttons for around 20 seconds or so).

This time, I was having no such luck, even after over 8 hours of charging. It wasn't until it was dark out again that I noticed the issue. It appears that the USB port on the Touchpad might be a little sensitive. As the room was getting dark and I was frustratingly trying everything I could think of, I wiggled the USB plug around a bit and finally noticed the Home button displaying a bit of waving light. I had never really noticed that feature before. So, I let it sit again for a couple of hours and finally was able to bring it back to life with a reboot. Whew!

So, if you are having problems getting your Touchpad to charge, try wiggling the USB plug a bit to make sure you are getting a good connection.
I've also noticed in the past that the AC end of the charging adapter can because loose (it twists off to allow you to replace the AC plug for different countries). Make sure it is good and tight as well.
