[VIDEO] Fix for apps that don't appear in Android Market ( for Android on TouchPad )

Yay! Now we have access to all the apps in the Market, here are the steps to fix this:

1. Download the update file here: http://www.multiupload.com/5MKAKAKUM6
2. Hook your device up to your computer and place it on the root of the SD Card
3. Boot your device into recovery mode by holding down the power button>reboot>recovery
4. Once in recovery, use the volume buttons to scroll and the home key to select
5. Go to "install zip from sdcard">"choose zip from sdcard">select the update file>select "yes"
6. After that is installed, press the power button to go back to the main menu and hit the home button to reboot the device
7. You're done! Now you don't have to side load the apps!

After the install is complete, press the power button to go back to the main menu, and tap home to reboot your system.

EDIT : More info added. If you still cannot access some apps after doing the above, follow these instructions.

1. Go to Market and hit back button go to Settings > Applications > Manage Apps.
2. Press "All" on top tab and scroll down to "Market" press it and you will find three options press "Clear Cache" and "Force Stop" respectively, leave "Clear Data" alone.
3. Press back button to the "All" menu again and Scroll up until you see Google Services Framework, press it and you will find two options Press "Clear Data" > OK and after that press "Force Stop" respectively.
4. Press back button to desktop and press "Market" may be you will get an error (that is good)!
5. Now reboot your Touchpad and hit "Market" again and do search for your favorites Apps which were missing previously. Just make sure to do that in ORDER.

When you press the power button and that menu button comes up hit Reboot then click Recovery and hit okay. That will get you to a black screen with a few options on it.

Ok thanks, i saw now, i hadn't Clockworkmod installed :-) Now everything is fin except Taking Pics and viewing videos (.mp4)

How do I install Clockwork recovery? I have seen the zip file in the ones that install with CM7, but right off the bat, it does not work when I try to boot into recovery. Should I go with Rom Manager to install it?

Idk if you can do that through Rom Manager. To install it you are going to have to use the ACMEInstaller method using your computer and command prompt: http://www.tabletsupportforum.com/fo...nd-information.

I did try 3 times to install Clockwork. Two times with the whole set of files, adnt his morning, using only the Clockwork file.

I tried to read the install codes, but they pass by very quickly. I managed to read something like "install aborted : not enough memory left on the device". However, I have a 32gb with 25,8 GB free. It should not happen.

For now, it's a minor problem, so I won't bother the CM team with it, but it could become serious if I can't install anything through Clockwork.

I've had a similar issue, its a known issue too. You have to hold Power+Home until you see the HP logo

You could try reseting webOS by going to the app list>setting>reset webOS and choose the full restore option. It isn't too big of a deal in the end though, you can always install updates through ACMEInstaller, including this update

It's funny because I just finished resetting my TP. No luck though.

I will install the update through ACMEInstaller.
